Saturday, August the 9th, from 11 AM.

HOW THE DAY WORKS:

The first game will start at 11 am sharp so please arrive by 1040 at the latest. Teams will be based on the boundary around their respective pitches. The changing rooms and toilets will be open but I'd like all teams outside cheering on the other games.

Please bring food and drinks and supporters!

The teams hav been seeded and there are three leagues of four teams. The two top leagues will each feed two teams in the semi finals. The third league will feed their top two teams into a Plate Final that will be played before the main Semi Finals. I have based the seeding on the information available to me on player selection.

SPONSORSHIP:

Every run scored will raise a pound for charity. Last year six teams played nine games and scored 1250 runs. This year we have 12 teams playing 22 games. Last year we averaged 140 runs per game. If we manage this year we'll score £3080

All teams are asked to raise their own sponporship for the day.

PRIZES

The Grand Final winners will receive the Graeme Le Maistre Shield and a bottle of champagne and there will also be a bottle of champagne for the highest run scorer, most sixes hit, and for the team with the highest total in one innings.

The Plate winners will receive a Trophy and a bottle of champagne.
